With DeMarco Murray out for the season, Felix Jones injured, and Tashard Choice traded away, the Cowboys running game falls squarely on the shoulders of former Red Raider Sammy Morris. The 34 year old Morris was signed to the roster just last week to continue the carousel of running backs that have come through Dallas this season.

The nerve racking part for Cowboy fans is that the two most important games of the season are coming up in the next two weeks, at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, and on the road against the New York Giants that will more than likely decide who takes home the NFC east title, and ultimately who makes the playoffs.

Assisting Morris in the running game is Chauncey Washington, who only has four carries in his entire career. Depending on how well Morris holds up, and how good Washington actually is the Cowboys should be in for an interesting couple of weeks.
