The Washington Redskins have re-signed linebacker London Fletcher to a new two-year contract.

Fletcher has been a member of the Redskins for five seasons, leading the team in tackles each year and is coming off a third straight Pro Bowl appearance.

He has made at least 100 tackles in 13 consecutive seasons.

Fletcher, who turns 37 next month, has never missed a game in his NFL career, having played in 224 straight since debuting with the St. Louis Rams in 1998. His consecutive streak of 179 in 99 games ahead of the second-longest streak by an active linebacker.
