I recently met with two wonderful ladies, Shanna and Tina, from the Lubbock Dream Center about their really big, yet really attainable goal of creating a temporary home for women in the Lubbock community who need a hand-up with their lives.

Whether it be addiction, the prison system or an abusive situation, the Lubbock Dream Center is hoping to build a facility that will give women not only their immediate needs like food, shelter and safety, but also the long-term vital skills and independence they need to thrive.

But don't take my word for it, listen to these two lovely and inspiring ladies in the video above. If you feel led to give, the group is accepting online donations. You can also call them at 806.793.3336 for more information.
