Last night, the San Francisco Giants completed a spectacular NLCS comeback by beating the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 and taking the series four games to three. The Giants had been facing a 3-1 series deficit just a few days ago, but they're now gearing up for their Fall Classic matchup with the American League-champion Detroit Tigers.

So, who's gonna win?

Both teams feature marquee pitchers (Justin Verlander for the Tigers, Matt Cain for the Giants) and MVP favorites in the heart of the batting order (Miguel Cabrera, Buster Posey). The Tigers have had a few days off since their ALCS sweep of the New York Yankees, enabling them to set up their pitching rotation. The Giants just their ace to finish off the Cardinals, so that might give the Tigers a slight edge.

But by virtue of winning the All-Star Game, the National League gets to host the World Series, so that might swing things back toward the Giants.
