With Le'Raven Clark, DeAndre Washington and Jakeem Grant all draft hopefuls and Pete Roberson and Branden Jackson on the outside looking in, who will be drafted this weekend?

Here are some thoughts.

    Le'Raven Clark, OT

Widely considered one of the two best tackles left in the draft Clark will be drafted on day two. That's either the 2nd or 3rd round.

Clark was a four-year starter for the Red Raiders and was a three-time All-Big 12 selection. He's 6'6", 310 pound pass blocker who can move people around in the run game.

He has no videos of himself in a gas mask.

    DeAndre Washington, RB

Round 5 or 6 seem to be the likely landing spot for DeAndre Washington, who will have to fight the stigma of the Texas Tech offense being all passing.

This is a guy who has back-to-back 1,000-plus yard seasons that can catch the ball out of the backfield. Washington is also an average blocker in the passing game that many scouts think will be too small to fill the same blocking role in the NFL.

Size is the biggest knock on Washington, but at 5'8" and 210 pounds, he has plenty of size for the role he will most likely hold in the NFL, the change of pace 3rd down back, similar to Brandon Oliver, who is in the in the NFL right now.

    Jakeem Grant, WR/Return Specialist

Jakeem Grant is the most intriguing and confusing prospect Texas Tech has.

He may not be drafted, and no one but Tech fans would be upset. He could also go in the 6th and fill a role on a complete team.

What's most likely is in the 7th or undrafted.

His publicity tour this off-season has been the stuff of legend. Showing off his unreal hops and unmatched speed.(dat 4.1 40, doe). But, not getting to show that at the combine hurt his stock.

The positives are numerous; speed and playmaking ability stand out. But it's the negatives that will likely be too much for most teams.

Drops hurt Jakeem his entire career. Yes, the leading receiver ever at Texas Tech had way too many drops in his career. He's also 5'7" and 168 pounds (which is probably generous), but drawing comparisons to DeSean Jackson, T.Y. Hilton and Tyler Locket is not far-fetched.

As a Cowboys fan, I would love for the team to get Grant. He's a versatile return man that provides a shifty presence at the 4th WR spot. Maybe he can even develop into a Wes Welker-type presence in the slot.

High ceiling, high floor-type return man. True weapon.

Branden Jackson, DE and Pete Roberson, DE/OLB

These two guys have the opportunity to join the NFL, but it will be as undrafted free agents.

Both are former Big 12 sack leaders and versatile, at times, pass rushers.

Pete is more of a hybrid with the opportunity to play OLB in a 3-4 scheme, while Jackson will likely remain in the DE role where ever he goes.

Maybe NFL scouts will forgive the pair for playing through five Defensive Coordinators during their Texas Tech tenure.
