The United States men's national soccer team will take on Belgium in their first match in the knockout round that began this past weekend.  Striker Jozy Altidore (pictured on the right) is expected to play after straining his hamstring in the team's World Cup opener against Ghana.  He has not played since leaving that match which the Americans won 2-1.  They would finish pool play with a 1-1-1 record and advance in back to back World Cups for the first time in USA men's soccer history.  They were eliminated by Ghana in their first game of the knockout round in 2010.  Now Belgium finished their pool play with a 3-0-0 record as they outscored their opponents 4-1 in their three wins.  First kick for this match is set for today at 3pm from Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Brazil and can be seen on ESPN.  That brings us to our FAN poll of the day.
