Since its inception, over 85 percent of the donations received have supported programs helping Wounded Warrior amputees, amputee children and medical research.

Everyone in Lubbock is encouraged to raise your American flags between April 28 & May 1st to show support to these truly amazing men who have not only fought and almost lost their lives to defend our country and our freedom, but who fight on, missing limbs, but full of heart and courage.

"These men have a story to tell and they will be in Lubbock to raise awareness and visit with children, students and adults alike," said Chuck Brown, spokesman for the Wounded Warrior program in Lubbock. They will share their stories of courage and triumph in the face of devastating adversity.
