It's pretty obvious who the WWE is rooting for to win the Big 12 title.

Remember last weekend when the Texas Tech staff put on a WWE-caliber wrestling match in the middle of practice? You might have thought it was a one-off experience, but it wasn't. It was just part of a budding relationship.

It all began back in June when the WWE came to Lubbock for a WWE Live event. Three WWE Superstars dropped by the weight room to lift with Coach Rusty Whitt and the gang.

Wrestler Baron Corbin reps Texas Tech on a regular basis now.

That brings us to today, when the official WWE Universe Twitter account gave major props to Kliff Kingsbury, wishing him and the team good luck.

Yes, that's Kingsbury with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt from WWE Smackdown.

Texas Tech Football appreciated the mention:

Let's hope that the title over Kingsbury's shoulder is not the only title he holds while at Texas Tech.
