The Dallas Mavericks added some front court depth to the roster Friday by signing Yi Jianlian.

The team announced the signing of the free agent forward to a one year deal.

The 7-0, 250-pounder was the sixth overall pick of the 2007 NBA draft. He’s entering his fifth season in the league after playing for the Bucks, Nets and Wizards.

Yi, 24, holds career averages of 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds in 242 career games. He was also a member of the Chinese National Olympic Team that competed in both the 2004 Athens games and 2008 Beijing games.
