After struggling in his first two major league starts, Texas Ranger Yu Darvish dominated vs the New York Yankees.

Darvish had a season high ten strikeouts vs the Yankees in a 2-0 Rangers win. Darvish managed to work himself out of a few jams over the course of his 8 1/3 innings pitched. It should also be noted that Darvish's 10 strikeouts were the most by a Rangers pitchers this season. Another odd state coming out of the game was the Darvish Kuroda match up was only the seventh time in Major League history that two Japanese starters have faced off against one another.

Ian Kinsler also had a great game for the Rangers, knocking in a lead off homer in the first inning. Josh Hamilton had the Rangers other RBI going 1-4 on the night.

The biggest concern coming out of the game was Josh Hamilton and his loss of control of his bat as of late. Sure he is batting .400 right now, but he cant seem to hold, onto his bat this season. He also tossed the bat into right field last night going after a pitch.

Check out the video of Hamilton losing his bat against the Tigers just one week ago. Does Hamilton's bat throwing bother you? Let us know below.
