Texas Tech Freshman Clement Sordet was one of 16 student-athletes from the Big 12 Conference to be named to the Division I PING All-Region teams that were unveiled Wednesday.

Sordet helped lead the Red Raiders to an 11th consecutive NCAA Regional. He lead the team with a 72.9 stroke average over 66 rounds in 12 different tournaments.

On the season he posted two tournament wins, six Top 10 finishes and earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Tournament team after a 7th place finish at the Big 12 Championships.

Texas Tech ended its season in Greensboro, N.C., earlier this month at the NCAA Regional. The regional appearance was the 11th straight for the men's golf program.
