Dairy Queen restaurants in Texas are partnering with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for just one day for a special initiative towards a good cause. Spoons for Smiles will kick off on October 21, this event is the opportunity for Dairy Queen customers to enjoy a treat while also supporting a good cause.

To participate every customer will just has to purchase a Blizzard Treat of any flavor or size at participating Dairy Queens in the Lonestar State. Then $1 from the Blizzard Treat sale will go towards the Texas Dairy Queen Operators' Council to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In Lubbock those proceeds will benefit University Medical Center Children's Hospital.

Since it is Autumn there are some flavors that are not normally out all year round but Dairy Queen is also releasing a brand new flavor joining their Fall lineup.

Up to $50,000 of the proceeds from this event will be going to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
