Houston Rockets Beat New Orleans Hornets 100-96

The Houston Rockets beat the New Orleans Hornets 100-96 last night.
James Harden had 30 points to lead the Rockets in scoring. Harden was 10 for 20 from the field and 1 of 7 from behind the arc. Omer Asik added 15 points and 12 rebounds to help the Rockets’ efforts. With the win, the Rockets improve to (4-4) on the season.
On the other side of the ball, Greivis Vasquez led the Hornets in scoring with 24 points before briefly leaving the game with a bad left ankle. Top pick Anthony Davis only had eight points in the game, shooting only 2 for 7 from the field.
Houston hits the road to take on the Portland Trailblazers on Friday. Tip off is at 9:00 pm.
