The Texas Rangers lost game 2 of their 3 game series last night to the Tampa Bay Rays, 5 – 4.

The Rangers lead going into the bottom of the 8th, but experienced reliever Arthur Rhodes for the Rangers gave up a 2 shot homer to the Rays Evan Longoria to give the Rays the win.

C.J. Wilson was on the mound for the Rangers and had a one hitter going into the 7th and the Rangers had a 3 – 1 lead, but Wilson missed his pitch and Matt Joyce was able to hit it right and drove it over the fences. Joyce’s 2 run homer tied up the game.

After scoring at least 4 home runs in their last 3 games the Rangers failed to send one over the fences last night.

The Rangers and Rays will wrap up their 3 game series today at 12:10
