No, that wasn’t a fake headline you just read. Vince Lombardi, a 38 year old resident of Kenduskeag Maine, was arrested on Super Bowl Sunday forattempting to break into an auto parts store.

Lombardi was picked up by Officer Chad Wilmot shortly after midnight of Super Bowl Sunday after a routine stop led to him hearing alarms going off. Wilmot was assisting another when he heard the alarms of the local auto parts store sounding. Lombardi was charged with attempted burglary, criminal mischief and probation violation.

Nothing from the auto parts store was taken; just the window broken out. Lombardi, who has no relation to the Hall of Fame coach, was taken to Hancock County Jail there in Maine.
