Pittsburgh Steelers RB Baron Batch Talking Football & Life on the Sports Shack [AUDIO]

Former Red Raider and current Pittsburgh Steelers running back Baron Batch joined Scott and Alan on the Sports Shack Tuesday morning to talk about life in the NFL, his road back from injury and his newest endeavor, making salsa relevant in the north.

Baron and the guys start off the conversation talking about his role growing each week with the Steelers, particularly becoming the teams third down back.

“I’m one of the better blockers, not saying our guys can’t block, but it’s definitely something I had to do at a lot at Tech, “Batch said. “I can catch the ball when I need to and run routes.”

Batch talks about the difference between carrying the ball for Tech, or the preseason for that matter, vs. the regular season.

The guy’s also talk with Baron about life outside the white lines, and his growing salsa venture.
