Texas Tech Refutes National Report that Defensive Coordinator Chad Glasgow was Fired

Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports reported on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that Texas Tech has fired Defensive Coordinator Chad Glasgow after 1 season in Lubbock.

"Just heard that Tommy Tuberville has fired Texas Tech DC Chad Glasgow. That's fourth assistant to go this offseason there."

However, Texas Tech Athletic Spokesperson @BlayneBeal responded on Twitter with,

"Contrary to a media report, TTU defensive coordinator Chad Glasgow has not been fired."

Feldman broke the stories of the firings a few weeks ago on twitter and Tech Head Coach Tommy Tuberville didn't necessarily deny the story, but didn't confirm it either.
