The AJ’s Nick Kosmider with the Latest Regarding Texas Tech Football [AUDIO]

Robert Snyder, 1340TheFan.com

The Avalanche-Journal’s Nick Kosmider joined the Williams and Hyatt Show Tuesday afternoon to discus the latest news regarding the Red Raider football team.

There’s mention of Don Williams wearing a tie in the conversation. If that happens we need photo evidence of its existence. Anyway back to football.

The biggest newsworthy thing from Tuesday was the loss of back-up wide receiver/top special team’s guy Aaron Fisher. There was some good news on the injury front as back-up guard/center Tony Morales suffered only a sprained MCL in his right knee.

Kosmider discussed how the team has an eager feeling about them, wanting to get back on the field and erase the taste of last season’s disappointing record.

Biggest question mark for Texas Tech according to Kosmider is?

“You know it will be on defense,” Kosmider said. “But particularly for me from what I’ve seen, from my experience with the team last year and kinda the way some of the other teams in the conference are going, they have to be able to stop the run.”

Yes Kosmider does reference Michael Jordan in terms of the Red Raider defense. In case you were wondering, and we know you were.
