A Jason Fisch RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning led #16 Lubbock Christian University to a 6-5 win over Division II University of Texas of the Permian Basin on Tuesday.

Down 4-2 in the top of the ninth inning, UTPB scored three runs with a bases loaded triple to take a 5-4 lead. LCU responded in the bottom of the ninth with the game-tying run after Brett Kauten scored on an errant throw.

Both Fisch and Kauten went 3-for-5 in the game, and Kauten also had three stolen bases. Fisch led the Chaps with two RBI.

After the win, the Chaps are now (22-5) overall. The Chaps continue their homestand on Friday to open a four-game Sooner Athletic Conference series hosting University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma.
