Courtney Linehan of the AJ on the Williams & Hyatt Show [AUDIO]

The Lubbock Avalanche Journals Sports Editor and beat writer for the men's basketball team in Courtney Linehan joined Williams & Hyatt guest host Allen Corbin to discuss basketball coach Billy Gillispie landing the eighth member of this fall's incoming class as Midland College point guard Ty Nurse signed his letter of intent this past weekend during his official visit to Tech.

Nurse is a 6-foot-1 sophomore originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. He averaged 9.3 points per game this past season,  and had a 99 assists to 45 turnover ration. He was named to the all-Western Junior College Athletic Conference and all-NJCAA Region V teams. His 55 3-point field goals were the second most among the team.
